Data package lifecycle

This section contains how-tos for every step of the life of a data package:

1. Create a package by defining a descriptor: the core metadata document
2. Build a package from that descriptor
3. Install a local package, if you wish to test it out before sharing it
4. Publish a package to dpm so teammates can discover and install it
5. Share the package with others
6. Update the data package to reflect changes in the data
